Journal Information

The American Journal of Blood Research (AJBR) (ISSN: 2160-1992, www.ajblood.us or www.ajbr.us), is a peer-reviewed
open access, online only journal to facilitate rapid publication and circulation of novel discoveries in basic and clinical
sciences for blood and blood diseases including, but not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, hematology and blood
oncology.  It was founded by a group of scientists for blood research and clinical academic physicians from around the world,
who are devoted to the promotion and advancement of our understanding of the blood diseases and their treatments.

The scope of AJBR is intended to encompass that of multi-disciplinary researchers from any scientific discipline where the
primary focus of the research is to increase and integrate knowledge about etiology and molecular mechanisms of blood and
blood diseases with the ultimate aim of advancing the cure and prevention of this group of diseases. To achieve these aims,
AJBR will publish review articles, original articles and new techniques in blood research and disease therapy. It will also
publish hypothesis, case reports and letter to the editor.

Unlike most other open access online journals, AJBR will keep most of the traditional features of paper print that we are all
familiar with, such as continuous volume, issue numbers, as well as continuous page numbers to retain our comfortable
familiarity towards an academic journal.

AJBR will be officially launched in June, 2011, and published as a quarterly journal. Publication frequencies can be increased
to as bi-monthly or even monthly if more manuscripts are received. We are accepting manuscript submissions at this time. All
manuscripts will be peer reviewed and published within one month if accepted. If you are interested in submitting a
manuscript to AJBR for consideration of publication, please read the journal’s Information for Author and e-mail the
manuscript to the Editorial Office at
editorial@ajblood.us.

We are also inviting you to join the editorial board of AJBR. Please read the editorial board policy and then contact us together
with your updated CV, 5-10 keywords of your research interest, the weblink of your professional webpage that is hosted in your
affiliated university or institute if you are interested in becoming an editorial board member.
